Our Story
Pastor Louis Powers, wife Ruth and son, David
Pastor Louis Powers became the Pastor at West Springfield Baptist Church in February 2025. He received a bachelor's degree from Malone University in Bible and Theology in 2024; and is currently working on his Master of Divinity (MDiv) from Liberty University in Christian Leadership and Church Ministries. He credits his success to his strong faith and the support he receives from his wife, Ruth and young son David. Pastor Louis and Ruth have been married for seven years and have a four-year-old son. The family enjoys camping, walks, bicycle rides, evenings around a fire, writing/performing music and day-trips to fun places.
